Experience in Educational 

Technology Laboratory 2

 

My experience in Educational Technology Laboratory 2 was great. My thoughts in mind was changed, because of the different activities we had made. When I was still in high school until college, every time we have a drawing activity I always told my self "I can't do it" because I don't have any talent in drawing. That perspective only changed when we had our first activity, even if were doing it with our eyes closed. I didn't expect that after we color it, we have formed something. I have seen bird, wave, sea, rabbit, and flower.So I realized that I was mistaken. I had the talent but maybe I don't have the courage to practice.

Another nice experience I had encountered in this subject was the shading. Even though it was so hard for me to do the activity, I still made it and it really builds my patience because I bought a copy of that activity many times because the result is so untidy. But despite of that i still love the outcome of my output. I never really think that I can do it. I've learned also the different types of shading.The horizontal, vertical, cross, dot, smudge and zigzag.

In the Microsoft excel, even though it was already being taught to us in CSci21. It refreshes our minds because ma'am taught  us again the techniques on how to compute grade in an easy way. The practical exam was slightly hard but because we have chosen to be the last batch it was lucky for us because ma'am told us some of the answers. :)

In making  the certificate in publisher, it was very an exploring experience in the sense that it was my first time to make an output from publisher. What I did to make it was just to explore and read with comprehension every detail in the publisher. It was so fun for me because even though I don't own a laptop. I'm just spending in making it in a computer shop. I've never ask somebody to teach me in making it, but still lucky for me ma'am Aivie gave me a perfect score of 20.

In summary, my experience in Educational Technology Laboratory 2 was unforgettable. It was because ma'am Aivie Baslan was so good to us, at first I thought that she would be strict to us but I was mistaken. She was a nice teacher to us, even if sometimes when she's having a lecture it seems like "gi gukod si ma'am" kay paspas(peace ma'am). But regardless to that, I still get inspired to her because she is kind and a smiling teacher.
